Does anyone know what the poem Custodian by Maxine Kumin is supposed to mean?

The poem itself says it: no moral arises. A poem should not mean, but be. What it means to you and what it means to me will be different. Your best bet is to think, without anxiety, about the title in connection with the whole last verse.
