Are the Thrashers seriously moving back to Winnipeg?

The arena is a dive? I think at this point market forces will prevail rather than grand strategies. Therefore if the Winnipeg group comes up with the money and the money is not found in Atlanta it will happen. As far as free agents declining to play in Winnipeg, they can still fill the building without them-they do quite nicely at the moment with just the Moose. If that makes them perpetually uncompetitive that is really neither here nor there. The Leafs have not been competitive in a long time, but yet are the best business proposition in the league.
