Do most men allow input from their wife on what vehicle to purchase?

I think that just like everything in the marriage, it should be a joint decision. We have 2 cars, and we went together to buy both of them. Even though one is considered hers and one is mine, we will often switch (she has an suv and I drive a 2 seat roadster), so we picked the cars we both like.
